Tree Committee
The Tree Committee is charged with developing long-term plans for the maintenance and preservation of the tree stock in the Village. In addition, it is formulating policies for the Village Board’s consideration. The Committee will be seeking funding through NY State to develop a tree inventory and maintenance plan.
Dog Park Committee
The Dog Park Committee is studying the operations of local dog parks and is developing plans, policies, and procedures for the creation of a dog park in the Village.
Playground Committee
This committee meets as needed to discuss improvements to the playgrounds in the Village.
Lakefront Committee
This committee meets as needed to discuss improvements to the lakefront of Round Lake. It will also work on a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program grant.
AP3 (Association to Preserve/Protect/Plan Round Lake)
AP3 is a new not-for-profit organization whose purpose is: Planning for, supporting, and advising the Round Lake Village Board regarding the maintenance, preservation and restoration of historic assets in the Village of Round Lake, NY (such assets particularly include, but are not limited to the Round Lake Auditorium and the Davis Ferris Tracker Organ); planning and supporting events and activities involving the history of the Village of Round Lake; and planning and supporting the continued uses of historic assets for the benefit of the residents of Round Lake while maintaining the historic integrity of the assets and the Village of Round Lake.
AP3 works with the Village Board of Trustees and encourages and supports independent projects focused on the history of the Village and the management and use of historic assets.
